How to Help

Join the PTFA

Anyone can join the PTFA, just come along to a meeting, listen to what we have to say and contribute what you can.  The more people we have the more ideas, knowledge and skills we will bring together to make the children’s time at school even more fun and exciting.

Helping at Events

With so many events being held throughout the school year we are always in need of volunteers for various events, such as discos and sports days, if you can help please contact us.

Being a Sponsor

Each year we will be looking for sponsors to help cover the production costs of the Christmas Concert DVDs and the Year 6 Leavers Books, if you would like to be a sponsor for either of these please contact us.

Make a Donation

There are different ways to donate to the PTFA.  Giving a financial donation is definitely helpful, but we are also sometimes in need of material donations to give away as prizes for raffles and competitions.  Alternatively, you may have knowledge or skills that could be used for a project we are undertaking, and you could donate your expertise.

Online Funding

Easy Fundraising (www.easyfundraising.org.uk) is a website whereby the PTFA would get a percentage when a purchase is made online from over 2,700 stores, including Amazon, Tesco, M&S and Curreys.  Whether you are an individual or business this is an easy way to raise money for us!

Clothes Bank

We sell second hand school uniforms donated by parents and unclaimed clothes from the ‘Lost Property’ box.  If your child is leaving Sedbergh Primary please consider donating you child’s clothes to us.
